How do I book a photo session?                                                                                                                                                 By clicking the booking tab on the website, you can review the dates and times that are available. After picking the date and time that you would like, proceed with the booking process. Following your deposit payment, you will receive a confirmation email. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing.

How much is the deposit? When is the remainder due?                                                                                                              The deposit for each shoot is 25%. Deposit is required for confirmation. The remainder of the payment is required on the day of the shoot-following the session. Without the final payment, photos will not be delivered.

Which form of payments do accept?                                                                                                              Invoices will be sent to clients 2-3 business days following their booking. The invoice will include the remainder payment. Payments can be made through cash, Paypal, and we also accept all major debit and credit card providers.

 

Are deposits refundable?

Deposits are nonrefundable. This covers any loss in the form of lost bookings. We understand that unforeseen events can happen, so we will work with the client to find the best possible solution – e.g. find a new date for a session.

Can I reschedule my appointment?

Following the initial scheduled date, clients can reschedule one additional time. If they are unable to make the rescheduled appointment time, the client will be required to schedule another date, paying a new deposit fee.

 

Which locations do you recommend for a Portrait Session?

Kentography specialized in outdoor photography and indoor shoots. Picking a great spot can be a little difficult. When choosing a great spot, feel free to explore the city. After your booking, feel free to contact us and we will forward you a list of some of the best photo spots in the city!

Does my time start when I arrive?

At Kentography, we strive to arrive early to our shoots to scope out the surroundings and get our creative mind going. If for some reason we are late, we will do our best to extend the time or if the time is substantial and the shoot is unsuccessful we will refund all or part of the money. If a client is late we will do our best in the time that is remaining to get everything we need, but we don’t extend the session time.

What if it is raining during an outdoor session or due to the weather there is no sunset?

In the case of rain or bad weather, we can try our best to improvise! Sometimes that means finding shelter or finding other creative ways to capture the moment. If the weather is potentially damaging to our equipment, we will be restricted to areas that we can safely shoot. Bad weather is not a reason itself to cancel a session, but if possible we’ll try our best to find alternative arrangements – e.g. change locations, wait the weather out. Please note, that there are no refunds due to weather.

 

Do you provide digital negatives (RAW files) after the shoot?

The client will be provided with edited images only. Each picture is carefully handled and will be a representation of our work. Be sure to look at our portfolio and that our work and style are a good match for you!

 

Do I get all the images you take?

We go thoroughly through all the images we take during a session and will take out the obviously unusable ones in a first step. We also reduce the amount of duplicates so you can enjoy only the best of the best images. With each package, we guarantee a minimum amount of images, but in the end you will get all the images that make it into the final collection.

What rights do I have to the digital prints?

Each package includes reproduction rights to all your images. This gives you the right to reproduce the images for personal use, so you can use them for prints, sharing them on your social media, making canvases, etc. Commercial use is not allowed if not separately agreed on. The copyright of the images will be with the photographer.

How long will it take to receive my images?

24-48 hours following the session, clients will be provided with a link to view all of their images. Clients will favorite their images and we will edit them. Additional image edits that are not included in the package are $5.00 per edit. A sneak preview will be published on our website within one week after the shooting. The final proofing of the photos takes 1 to 2 weeks.
